A hydrocarbon strategy forum is to kick off here on Wednesday, with emerging trends in hydrocarbon production to figure out on the agenda, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said.
Co-hosted by the KPC, the forum will provide a platform to discuss emerging trends in hydrocarbon production and use in the region, the corporation said in a statement released here on Monday.
Key speakers include Kuwaiti Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair, Omani Minister of Oil and Gas Mohammed Al-Rumhy, KPC Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Nizar M. Al-Adsani, and Secretary-General of the International Energy Forum (IEF) Aldo Flores-Quiroga, it added.
Main topics to be discussed during the forum include investment in the sector of discovery and exploration in the Arabian Gulf region and the impacts of dwindling world oil prices on the region, it noted.
