The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce will organize the Fifth Arab German Energy Forum in Berlin on November 25-26.
A statement by the Chamber said the forum aims to enhance promising potentials for cooperation between Arab and German business partners in the energy sector.
The gathering will provide an excellent framework for a central information network and a platform for some 400 participants who would meet with Arab and German decision makers and potential partners, the statement added.
The statement referred to a strategic decision by the German government involving a transformation from dependence on sources of nuclear energies to those of sustainable and renewable energies.
The decision also involved a comprehensive structural change in the German energy sector with expected 280 billion euro worth of investments until the year 2030, according to the statement.
Arab countries, on the other hand, are implementing long-term strategies on diversifying energy sources and on economic and industrial development, the statement added.
