Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker held a meeting with Burundi Energy Minister to discuss ways to provide support for Burundi in the field of electricity and energy.
The Egyptian electricity sector puts all its potentials to serve the State of Burundi, said a statement on Friday.
Shaker voiced Egypt's readiness to provide all means of technical support for Burundi.
Present at the meeting were Minister Osama Asran, deputy Minister of Electricity and renewal energy and a raft of ministry's officials and Burundian diplomats.
For his part, the Burundian minister voices his readiness to exchange Egyptian expertise to repair and provide maintenance for generators in his country.
