Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman met on Monday with the representatives of the an Italian company working in the field of manufacturing solar cells.
They discussed cooperation between Egypt and the company in the field of energy and the measures the government will take during the coming years to protect the investors and the guarantees offered to them by the ministry of investments.
The representatives of the company said they intend to carry out an integrated project in Egypt to generate 120 megwatts in the first stage to be followed by other stages producing 500 megawatts.
They expressed readiness to train Egyptian engineers, technicians and workers in the field of solar energy technology.
