Marking Bahrain's celebrations of its National and Accession Days, Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza has inaugurated Gas Compressor Station 9 of the Bahrain National Gas (Banagas) company.
He got informed about work at the new facility with all its infrastructure. He also inaugurated the new state-of-the-art control building for operating the main factory.
The new USD 42,2 million environment-friendly facility became partly operational in October 2013 and has been designed with a capacity of 60 million cubic feet of associated and refinery off gas. The project was carried out by
JGC Gulf International.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of Banagas and Bahrain National Gas Expansion (BNGEC) Board of Directors as well as senior officials from the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA).
