Minister of Energy Youcef Yousfi received Tuesday in Algiers, Kenyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and international Trade Amina Mohamed Jibril, said a communiqué of this ministerial department.
The talks between the two sides focused on the development of the cooperation between Algeria and Kenya in the sectors of hydrocarbons notably the exploration, production and distribution as well as the possibility of training Kenyan engineers in Algeria, added the source.
In this regard, the Kenyan minister expressed the wish of his country to benefit from the Algerian experience in the field of distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
In addition, the two sides agreed to send an Algerian experts’ team to Nairobi to deepen the discussions on the identified cooperation actions.
