The third International Exhibition of Renewable Energies and Sustainable Development "ERA 2012" opened Monday at Mohamed Benahmed Convention Centre in Oran (432-km west of Algiers). The opening ceremony of the three-day trade event took place in presence of Oran’s Wali (governor), Director General of Scientific Research and Technological Development, German and Polish ambassadors, to Algeria and the head of the Algerian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Nearly 110 national and foreign exhibitors are taking part in the trade event, organized by the communication company "Myriade", and which also includes "Enviro-Algerie" show, initiated in cooperation with the German Ministry of Economy. The two exhibitions are an opportunity for the promotion of the green economy by encouraging industrial activities in clean and renewable energies, said the organizers.
