Ophelia strengthened over the Atlantic to a Category 2 hurricane Friday and could get stronger, weather officials said. The storm, generating winds in the 100 mph range, was about 695 miles southeast of Bermuda, CNN reported. \"A turn to the north with an increase in forward speed is expected later today,\" the National Hurricane Center said. The center of the storm was expected to move east Saturday, passing Bermuda, which was under a tropical storm watch. The storm seemed to be weakening several days ago but has gained strength and could continue to do so in the next two days, the hurricane center reported.
