A Canadian woman died and two other tourists were injured when a surfacing whale hit a tourist boat off Mexico, the boat's owner said Wednesday.
Jennifer Carren, 35, was thrown into the bay of Cabo San Lucas and died later in hospital, Cabo Aventura said.
The whale jumped out of the water right in front of the boat and hit it on the side.
The captain and another tourist jumped into the water try to save Carren but their efforts were in vain.
