Technical and financial bids, offered by the five consultative offices recommended for resuming environmental studies on Ethiopia's Renaissance Dam, will be received next week, the minister of irrigation said Friday.
Hossam Moghazy said the three-state committee, formed of 12 experts from Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, would receive such bids next week for consideration.
Each country will consider the bids in ten days before holding the third committee meeting takes place in Khartoum in early of March to make a decision in this respect, Moghazi said.
The contract is planned to be signed with the winning office in Addis Ababa in the period from late March to the beginning of April, the minister said, adding studies should be conducted in a 5-12 month period.
