The Ministry of Environment's Agricultural Research Department discussed with delegations from Exxon Mobil Research and the French Institute of Research and Development (IRD) aspects of cooperation and coordination within the framework of the ministry's keenness on promoting cooperation and exchange of experiences and research in environmental and agricultural different areas.
A delegation from ExxonMobil Research in Qatar met the Agricultural Research Department Director Massoud Jarallah Al Marri, and head of animal research section Hamad Sakit Al Shammari, head of the animal technical section Amina Al Maliki, where they discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the two sides, in addition to proposals for future cooperation, especially in industrial water use in agriculture. The delegation was briefed on the department's various facilities.
At another meeting, the IRD delegation discussed with Amina Al Maliki and other officials aspects of cooperation and coordination as well as reviewed the most important scientific research carried out by the French Institute.
