Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) Consultative Council, the Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS) 2015 will get underway tomorrow at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The exhibition, which will continue till March 1 under the theme "Agricultural training for sustainable harvest", is expected to focus on the various aspects of agriculture, training programmes, educational qualifications and capacity building to develop existing expertise and train a new generation of agriculturalists and technocrats in agri-production.
Alongside government and non-government institutions from Bahrain, Participating countries will also include Italy, the Netherlands, France, Greece, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Cameroon, Uganda, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Yemen and Sudan.
