Caretaker Minister of the Environment, Nazem Khoury, met on Monday with a World Bank delegation, chaired by the bank\'s director in Beirut, Farid Belhaj. The meeting focused on the possibility of the Bank\'s funding the project of combating pollution in Litani River basin and Lake Qaraoun, by an estimated cost of LBP 342 billions. The delegation is expected to tour the Qaraoun and Litani soon and meet with officials and experts to develop the sewage wastewater project and dump in the Lake\'s region.
