Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour checked on efforts and preparations taken by the concerned departments to deal with the prevailing weather conditions. Ensour, accompanied by Interior Minister Hussein Majali and State Minister for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani, visited the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, the Amman Municipality Emergency Center in Tla’s Al Ali as well as the ministries of municipal affairs and public works and housing. The prime minister stressed that all concerned departments are doing their utmost to deal with the weather conditions and provide services to all citizens across the Kingdom. During his visit to the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, he said the center is coordinating this year and for the first time, efforts of all institutions working in the field to have better results. Ensour praised the efforts of all public departments, the armed forces, security agencies, the private sector and all volunteers to provide services to citizens. The prime minister also praised the efforts of the center’s staff, as well as those of the president of the center, His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein. Interior Minister Hussein Majali pointed to orders of His Majesty the King to provide food parcels to families in remote areas, adding that the aid will be distributed by the Jordan Armed Forces.
