Jordan's Minister of Water and Irrigation Hazem Nasser met with Palestinian Water Authority Director Mazen Ghneim and discussed scopes of water cooperation between the two sides, Petra news agency reported.
Nasser voiced the government's keenness on supporting the Palestinian people, stressing the need to implement joint water projects to serve interests of both countries.
The ministry will conduct training courses for the Palestinian Water Authority's cadre in the operation, maintenance and management of water and wastewater facilities," Nasser said in a press statement.
During the meeting, which was attended by officials from both sides, Ghneim hailed Jordan's efforts to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, noting the role of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation in this respect.
