Egypt will hold a big celebration in the city of El-Gouna in Hurghada on June 15-18 as part of activities marking World Environment Day under the rubric of "Raise Your Voice… Not the Sea Level".
All preparation for the celebration has been completed, said Minister of Environmental Affairs Laila Iskander in press statements on Friday.
The celebration will include environmental investment exhibition, which contains clean technologies, mainly resources of new and renewable energy and applications of green economy, she said.
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th of June. But the celebration has been postponed due to Egypt's presidential election.
