The Coastguard Commander, Commodore Alaa Abdullah Seyadi, has inaugurated the Seventh Maritime Security Specialist Course as part of the Directorate's annual plan to boost personnel efficiency.
The commander delivered a speech in which he clarified the objectives of 11-week course in which 19 personnel participate from the Coastguard Command.
The course comprises two stages: theoretical part which includes the Penal Code, Public Security regulations, awareness, license registration procedures and report writing techniques. The practical part of the course includes crime scene examination, marksmanship, vessels inspection and anti-smuggling operations.
