Minister of Water Resources, Hocine Necib stressed Wednesday night in Mascara, the need to meet the deadlines for completion of projects.
After inspecting the progress of supply works of eleven (11) municipalities of the province with drinking water from the hallway Mostaganem-Arzew-Oran (MAO) and the seawater desalination station of Macta (Oran), the minister stressed the need to respect the commitments made with the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal during his visit in the province of Mascara early January, on the reduction of the period of execution from 24 to 18 months.
Necib also gave instructions for the implementation of technical solutions to the problem of a main in the northern region of the province which passes through Sebkha while using steel lines resistant to salinity and able to save the review of studies and plans to speed up the works and avoid delays.
The Minister received explanations about the project for the supply of 11 towns of the north and center of the province with drinking water by a quota of 122,000 cm/day. A budget of DZD 10.8 billion was devoted to this project.
