3,000 employees to join \'Car Free Day\' in Dubai

At least 3,000 employees from various departments would leave their cars home and use public transport on January 18 in support of Dubai Municipality\'s \"Car Free Day\" initiative. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director Geneal of Dubai Municipality, said observing car free day is part of the civic body\'s efforts toward a better environment. Dubai Municiplity bagged the Idea Arabia award in 2010 for this initiative.
