Jumeirah Restaurants, the restaurants division within the Dubai-based Jumeirah Group, said on Wednesday it has signed a licence agreement to expand into Lebanon. The deal signed with Hotels and Restaurants Management Group SAL will see the expansion of the Noodle House brand into the country, with the first outlet opening in Beirut in 2012. Already established in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Riyadh, Kuwait, Limassol, Doha, and Lahore, the Noodle House restaurants are inspired by the food and nightlife of South East Asia. Phil Broad, managing director of Jumeirah Restaurants, said: \"We are excited to be opening the Noodle House in Lebanon. The Noodle House is a home grown brand that we are really proud of and we are happy to see the interest it is receiving, both in the region and internationally.\" Mohamed Charafeddine, managing director of Hotels and Restaurants Management Group SAL, added: \"People are expecting a great experience and of course we will strive to give it to them.\" The signing follows the recent announcement of the successful opening of the Noodle House in Lahore, Pakistan, and the signing of a licence agreement to open eight restaurants in Moscow. A first Noodle House is expected to open in the Russian capital in 2012 and will be followed by seven other restaurants across the city, a statement said. The Noodle House was the first restaurant brand to be developed and is the flagship of Jumeirah Restaurants with licence agreements already signed in 11 countries globally. Other concepts include Sana Bonta, Urbano, AllFreshCo, Rice + Spice and The Flaming Revolution.
