London-based hotel group Dominvs Hospitality will open two new hotels in Aberdeen under a new GBP30 million acquisition. The new hotels will have 251 rooms in total and will be built next to Aberdeen International Airport. One will offer 112 beds under a three-start offering, while the other will be a four-star hotel with 139 rooms. The new hotels will open their doors in autumn 2016 and will be the group’s sixth purchase since its founding in 2012. The group has plans to open hotels in key UK cities and will operate under the Dominvs name. “The Aberdeen market has been in our sights since our company’s inception” said Preet Ahluwalia, director of Dominvs Hospitality. “The location, size and potential of this site could not be more ideal, we as a company cannot wait to begin work on this project”. The group’s other hotel sites include the Dominvs Hotel Manchester, Aston Hotel Sheffield, Aston Hotel Dumfries and Aston Hotel Darlington. Source: Travel Daily
