Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa, a mere two hours from Washington, D.C., presides over 2,200 acres in south central Pennsylvania\'s picturesque Cumberland Valley, and it has the Allegheny Mountains as its backdrop. Designated a National Historic Landmark, the resort first opened in 1796, and has welcomed 11 U.S. presidents in its 200-year history. The site reopened its doors in 2007 following a 21-year closure and a $120-million restoration and expansion.
