I love falling in love

I fell in love today! Head over heels! Utterly, amazingly in love! It was lunchtime, and I was standing in front of the Chopard boutique, trying to decide which of the fabulous jewels in the window was my very, very favourite. The happy diamonds that make you want to dance… The dazzling colours exploding like hundreds of tiny reworks… And the hearts! Hearts upon hearts upon hearts… So romantic! You and me, together forever… Then, all of a sudden, I got that feeling you get when you’re being watched. A little thrill of excitement, a tingle up and down your spine. So I spun round and looked… straight into his utterly gorgeous eyes. And my heart skipped a beat. I blame it on Chopard! With all those hearts winking at me from the window, how could I possibly resist falling in love? And guess what? It’s the best feeling in the world – the one that puts a spring in your step, a sparkle in your eyes and a smile on your lips! I’ve caught love’s happy spirit! Surprise! As soon as I met him today he told me to close my eyes and hold out my hands. Then, very gently, he placed in my hands a little package and, as he did so, he leaned forward and whispered in my ear those three wonderful words: I love you… I opened my eyes… and saw an adorable little shimmering pink box, wrapped around with a beautiful rich purple ribbon, and the ribbon said Chopard Happy Spirit. I was so excited I could hardly open the box. But at last I did, and out came the most exquisite heart-shaped bottle - not one, but two hearts merging, just like the moment two people meet and fall in love. Through the smooth, clear glass was the fragrance, in a beautiful light pink, and all the way round the bottle ran a lustrous ribbon, as if tying the two hearts together. The intricately faceted top, inspired by a Chopard diamond ring, is like two one pink, one interlocking gems, purple. It is the most perfect, precious jewel, something I\'ll always treasure, like the memory of that magical moment when our eyes - our hearts - met for the first time. Something in the air… I just love Chopard Happy Spirit! Because, every time I spray on its sparkling floriental fragrance, I experience, all over again, that wonderful, happy feeling of falling head over heels in love. It\'s amazing how Happy Spirit captures my mood, how it always makes me feel bright and fresh and light-hearted. It must be the lush scent of red fruit that runs through the whole fragrance like a pink satin ribbon, starting with juicy Blood Orange, which instantly sets my senses tingling. I can also distinctly pick out the scent of my favourite flower, Honeysuckle, which is young and feminine and carefree. Then, after a while, the scent of Happy Spirit becomes all warm and sensual as it lingers on my skin - like a whispered reminder of the love we share… Something in the air… You make my head spin! On the way home, we passed one of those beautiful old carousels, the ones with the prancing horses, that I loved so much when I was a child. Before I could stop myself, I jumped on and went round and round and round until I was dizzy. And he was laughing, and every time I came around he tried to photograph me. And when at last the merry-go-round stopped and I jumped off into his arms, he said: “Tu me fais tourner la tête! You make my head spin!”
