Actress Penelope Cruz and her sister Mónica have co-designed the new L’Agent by Agent Provocateur collection. For the debut collection, the sisters chose a Spanish girl’s name for each range, with each name reflecting a distinct personality. A bra, brief and suspender are the L’Agent essentials and each range consists of up to eight pieces, to build a full lingerie look. The Penelope range is designed to sculpt and flatter and is L’Agent’s take on shapewear. Made from satin and tulle, Penelope is available in classic black or neutral blush. There is also a colour-block version, which combines the two shades. The scarlet satin, Danita is inspired by Helmut Newton’s lingerie shoots, with sleek, high-shine fabric but thick curved straps and a scarlet colour. Additional styles within the collection include Lolitta, Zanita and Isi, Elsa, Rosalyn and Karmen, Monica, Clementina and Leonara, the silk and ornate lace styles of Marisela (pictured here), Simona, Vanesa and Mirabel. The collection is available this month from Selfridges, NET-A-PORTER, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, with prices starting at £18 for knickers, £40 for bras and £145 for corsets. The launch of the L’Agent by Agent Provocateur diffusion line has also seen Penelope Cruz make her directorial debut, shooting an advert for the collection, starring model Irina Shayk, which can viewed via the website.
