Model and reality TV personality Kylie Jenner is on the defensive after a photo she posted on Instagram sparked online cries of racial insensitivity.
"What I wish I looked like all the time," Jenner, 17, captioned Saturday's image.
Us Weekly said she deleted the photo and message after some detractors likened the darker skin tone she featured in it to blackface.
"This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down," she said in a subsequent post, accompanying an image of her with a darker, bronzed skin tone, blue eyes and colorful streaks in her hair.
