Carey parties for Christmas cause

Mulligan kept her style simple for the evening London - Arabstoday Carey Mulligan stole the show in a demure silver and black dress last night. The 27 year old actress dazzled at the Gala Dinner for the Alzheimer’s Society at The Gstaad Palace Hotel in Switzerland. Carey is keen to do her bit for charity, particularly when it comes to the Alzheimer\'s Society for whom she is an ambassador. She joined forces with the charity to promote a campaign to get people sharing their favourite Christmas memories. She’s vocal about her strong support for the cause because her own grandmother suffers from dementia. Speaking about the campaign, she told press: “My favourite memory is every Christmas I was lucky enough to spend with my grandmother.” She added, “This Christmas we want people to tell us about their favourite Christmas memory – it can be funny, sad, silly or serious. Write it on a piece of paper then take a photo and tweet using #xmas2remember.” Mulligan also did her bit for festive fashion in a modest yet glitzy dress that showed us how to style one of this season’s key trends: metallic.
