Parts of the UAE were covered with fog and mist in the early hours of Friday, including Abu Dhabi - Dubai Road, Ras Al Khaimah Airport and Dubai Airport.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has warned against fog formation that could bring visibility down to less than 100m. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution during Eid holidays.
In a statement on Friday, NMCS said the weather will be hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times.
It said cloud amount will increase at times over some eastern areas, which may become convective at times by afternoon.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times and causing blowing dust and sand over exposed areas can also be expected.
