The highest temperature recorded over the country yesterday was 50.7°C in Mezaira, reported the weather department.
The mercury will continue to soar across the country over the next three days with the weather being hot to very hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times.
Clouds will increase over some eastern and southern areas, according to National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology. The humidity could increase during the night over coastal and western areas.
Temperatures today might peak to 42°C but it may feel like 51 degrees, according to worldweatheronline.com. The temperature will be at its lowest in the morning with 35 degrees feeling like 42 degrees.
