The weather

Moderate conditions are expected to continue in hilly areas, while the weather will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Similar weather conditions would continue over the coming few days. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.
Temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 19 at night, while mercury levels in Aqaba will reach 39 degrees during the day, sliding to 26 at night, the JMD added.
