A low atmospheric mass of air is expected to affect the Arabian Gulf region, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, by late Wednesday February 22.
There will be chance for intermittent rain-showers on Thursday and Friday associated with fast and strong wind gusts, according to Bahrain Meteorological Directorate (BMD) forecast.
Latest numeric predictions indicated that rainy clouds will start to move towards the southeastern regions of the Arabian Gulf later on Friday, February 24, associated with active and strong to moderate northwestern directional winds. Average monthly rainfall for February is estimated at 16.2 mm. the highest rainfall at 106.8 mm was recorded in 1988.
