Rain hits UAE as mercury touches 50 degree C
The NCMS has also forecast rain over the weekend along with hot to very hot and hazy weather in the country.

Just as temperature in UAE kept touching 50 degree Celsius on numerous occasions, a spell of rain in Masafi and nearby areas brought respite to residents.
According to the NCMS (National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, temperature in the country today touched 51 degrees in Mezaira and Swiehan at 2:30pm and 2:15pm respectively.
The NCMS has also forecast rain over the weekend along with hot to very hot and hazy weather in the country.
It was equally hot on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperature crossing the 50 degree mark on both the days.
