Rain hits UAE after hailstorms in Saudi

While everybody else in the cityscapes of UAE have been facing extremely hot temperatures, it seems like one part of the country is facing a different experience altogether. Forget about temperatures soaring to 50°C during the weekend.
In a video posted on Instagram by storm_ae, it can be seen raining in Al Masafi, located in the Eastern Region of the country. In the short clip, it shows rain hitting a car's windsheiled with the temperature showing 39°C.
Rain during the summertime is a rare occurrence. Earlier rain happened over Al Ghail, north of Manama, and over Adhan. It usually happens in the eastern region because of increased cloud presence in the area.
In the larger GCC region, hailstorms was also reported last week in Saudi Arabia.
