Moderate and pleasant weather is expected on Saturday in hilly areas, the eastern plains and the Badia regions while it will be relatively hot in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with northwesterly light to moderate winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, moderate conditions will continue to prevail on Sunday in the hilly areas, the plains and Badia regions while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times.
A rise in mercury levels is expected on Monday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in mountainous areas, the plains and the Badia and hot in other regions. Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD said.
Temperatures in Amman for today will rang between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 16 degrees at night. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will rise to 38 degrees sliding to 25 degrees at night, the JMD added.
