Pleasant and humid weather will prevail on Sunday as temperatures will drop 4-5 degrees Celsius below their annual average reaching 24 degrees Celsius during daytimes in much of the country.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will drop at night registering 14 degrees in most areas and dropping down to 6 in the southern cities.
Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 35 degrees sliding to 21 at night, the JMD noted.
A tangible rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, becoming around their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be moderate in the hilly areas, the plains and the desert region, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba with southwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
