National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) tweeted that lowest temperature recorded over the country today morning was 9 °C in Jais mountaint at 2:45am.
As per the weather forecast, it would be partly cloudy during daytime. The clouds will increase at times over some western Islands, NCMS said.
Maximum temperatures will surge to 31°C inland, with lows of 10°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 85 per cent.
Moderate wind will blow from eastern to north-eastern direction. The wind could be accompanied with dust blowing over open areas at speed of 20-35 km/hr reaching up to 50 km/hr. On Monday and Tuesday, light to moderate wind will blow from eastern to south-eastern with speed of 12-22 km/hr reaching upto 35km/hr, according to the earlier report.
