Hot weather conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday, as the country remains under the impact of a heatwave until Thursday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
The heatwave, which started affecting the country earlier this week is expected to push temperatures to their upper thirties in much parts of the country, reaching 37 degrees in the capital and jumping to 32 in the hilly areas, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will cool down at night dropping down to 24 degrees in the capital and sliding to 22 degrees in the hilly areas, the JMD said further.
