The Kingdom will be affected on Wednesday by a relatively hot wave pushing temperatures above their seasonal average and hover around 33 degrees Celsius during daytime in most areas except in the Gulf of Aqaba where they will jump to 40.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), temperatures will drop at night reaching 21 degrees in most regions and sliding to 27 in Aqaba.
A further rise in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average and bringing hot conditions across much of the country with northwesterly moderate winds.
Mercury levels will drop few degrees on Friday, but relatively hot weather will remain in most parts of the Kingdom, the JMD said.
