Some parts of UAE have received heavy rainfall accompanied by winds and blowing dust.
According to the NCMS (National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology) moderate to heavy rainfall has been experienced in areas of Khatam Al Shikhla, Malaqet, Al Hili, Al Foah, Al Wagan, located in Al Ain.
The areas of Al Madam and Al Fili in Sharjah have also received heavy rains during the evening today even though the temperatures hit 49.4 °C in Mezairaa (Abu Dhabi).
The NCMS had forecast the possibility of rains and an increase in cloud formation over the eastern and southern areas of UAE by the afternoon.
High humidity levels ranging between 55 to 75 per cent in the internal areas and 69 to 90 per cent in the coastal areas were expected.
