Certain parts of the UAE have received much-needed respite from the blazing heat. The temperatures have been zooming in the last few days.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), heavy rain has lashed Al Ain, including the area of Sweihan. Areas of Al Foah, Al Jimi and Al Hayer in Abu Dhabi were also drenched with rain this afternoon.
Moderate to heavy rainfall has also been witnessed on the Dubai-Al Ain road.
Light to moderate rainfall was reported over some of the southern areas of the UAE earlier during the day.
NCMS has also predicted hot to very hot weather in the UAE tomorrow with the weather being partly cloudy and hazy at times. There are also chances of clouds formation over the eastern and southern areas of the country.
