The weekend started on a misty/foggy note in UAE with poor visibility.
Thick fog engulfed parts of UAE as the National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS), reported about fog over Abu Dhabi, Dubai-Al Ain road, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
The weather department also shared a warning about poor visibility of less than 1000 meters on the roads. Drivers need to be extremely cautions while driving on empty roads during the weekend as it could lead to accidents.
The forecast for today is hot in general during daytime, mild by night while being partly cloudy and hazy at times, the NCMS said.
The clouds will form over some eastern areas, becoming convective at times during afternoon, it said.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.
