Wet and cloudy weather will cover parts of the country today and is expected to continue for the rest of the week.
Coastal, northern and island areas will have the most likely chance of light rain, forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) in Abu Dhabi said.
"Moderate winds in general, freshening at times over the sea, becoming light over land and the relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning over some internal areas, and fog/mist may form," said the NCMS forecast.
"The Sea will be moderate and may be rough at times in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in Oman Sea."
Temperatures along the coast will range from 18°C to 24°C, and 20°C to 23°C in internal areas.
Humidity will rise to 85 per cent in the evening on the coast and 95 per cent inland.
Similar conditions will persist into Thursday.
