But there will hardly be any respite for the UAE residents as the temperature in the internal areas will hover around 49-degree Celsius on the highs.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, the highest temperature recorded over the country yesterday was 51.2 degrees in Mezaira at 2.45pm.
Regarding today weather forecast, the NCMS has said that the day will be 'hot to very hot' in general with convective clouds forming over the eastern areas as the day proceeds. The humidity levels on the coastal areas will range between 60 to 80 on the highs and 50 to 70 in the internal areas.
Light to moderate winds will blow during the day time and motorists need to be careful about blowing dust.
