Egyptian actor Wael Nour has told Arabstoday he will not work in television. “I decided to stay away from TV because TV turned me down. I was not recommended for new shows, so I am concentrating on my own business and just act because I like it.” He added: “I am always using my talent on stage...I am also in a radio series named 'Law Amel Balo' with actress Laila Taher this Ramadan." On cinema, he said: “I was preparing for 'El Tefl El Emlak’ (The Giant Kid), which will be directed by Ramy Emam, but the project was cancelled due to its huge production costs." Nour also said he was very happy with his wife, who "totally understands the nature of his job" "She values my artistic work, and there are no problems between us,” he said. Wael’s first appearance was in “El Ehtyat Wageb” (We Should Take Care) with Ahmed Zaki and Madiha Kamel. After that in 1984 he acted with Samah Anwar in “Biet El Kaserat” (House ofuUnder-age girls). Late star Farid Shawky introduced him in “Saber Ya Am Saber” (Waiting for Mr Saber) and then in “El Bakheil Wa Ana” (The Miser and I). His last show on TV was “El Masrawya 2” (The Egyptians 2).
