Beshir el-Deek’s new series will be a love story

Beshir el-Deek denied rumours his new series about Farid Shawky and Houda Sultan’s marriage will be a biography,. It will be more of a dramatic love story, Deek told Arabstoday. The drama will centre on the relationship between the two stars, who eventually married. The couple worked together on a number of films, including Port Said in 1955 and Raseed Nemra 5 (Sidewalk no. 5) in 1956, amongst others. They also established a production company together, through which they worked with a number of actors.
