Wall Street stocks fell sharply Wednesday on deepening worries about President Donald Trump's economic agenda following a series of scandals and stumbles.
At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 368 points at 20,611.41 for a drop of 1.8 percent -- its biggest one-day decline since Trump was elected.
The broad-based S&P 500 dropped 1.8 percent to 2,357.46, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index tumbled 2.6 percent to 6,010.55, retreating from a record.
