Judges award Slovenia high seas access

International judges on Thursday awarded Slovenia key access to international waters in a long-running maritime and territorial dispute with its neighbour Croatia.
In their complex 300-page judgement, judges at the Permanent Court of Arbitration ruled Slovenia should have "a junction" with international waters, but rejected Ljubljana's demand that the whole of the southwestern Piran bay was Slovenian territory.
