Guatemala's top court announced Tuesday it has overruled an order by President Jimmy Morales expelling a United Nations anti-corruption official investigating graft allegations against him.
The decision by the Constitutional Court made permanent a temporary stay of the order handed down on Sunday. Morales accused the UN official, Ivan Velasquez of Colombia, of interfering in domestic matters and provoking a political crisis.
