Airbus CEO Tom Enders said Friday he expected "major penalties" for the aircraft manufacturer following a corruption probe over the sale of fighter jets to Austria.
"This situation is due to our decision, taken last year, to declare to authorities and governmental agencies inaccuracies that we ourselves discovered," Enders said in a letter to employees seen by AFP. "It was the right decision," he added.
