Japan's Kobe Steel said Friday that around 500 customers have been affected by a widening falsified data scandal, more than double its initial estimates.
"Combined with previously announced clients, it will total about 500 firms," Yoshihiko Katsukawa, a senior Kobe Steel executive, told a press conference.
