Lebanese singer Wadeaa al-Safy revealed to Arabstoday that he was recently admitted to Jabal Lebanon Hospital in eastern Beirut for a routine medical check-up. He denied he had suffered from a stroke as some media reports said. "I was surprised at reports that I was in the ICU. Those who spread this rumour clearly don’t love me, those who fabricate such rumours have clearly evil intents." Al-Safy also said he was not thinking of tying up with any company, unless they are "serious" in dealing with him, referring to his dispute with Rotana group.
